Total installed capacity: 58MW
Turbines blade tip height: 157 metres
Connection: To the grid via the 330kv transmission line

Crookwell 3 wind farm project

About the project

The Crookwell 3 project covers an area of approximately 1,100 ha owned by two landholders and used primarily for agricultural (grazing) activities which will be able to continue with operation of the wind farm.

The project is considered the 2nd stage of the Crookwell 2 wind farm, also owned and operated by GPG Australia.

Our company

Global Power Generation Australia (GPGA) is the Australian subsidiary of Global Power Generation (GPG), the international generation arm of Naturgy Group (Naturgy). GPG was created in 2014, in order to bring together the international power generation assets and business for the company outside of Europe, with the participation of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA).

In the spirit of reconciliation, GPG acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

The Crookwell wind farm is located on the lands of the Gundangurra people and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners.
